Amoliv 300

A hydrophilic bile acid that displaces toxic hydrophobic bile salts, providing hepatoprotection and choleretic effects. (Paumgartner G, 2002) Demonstrated to improve liver biochemistry in 80% of PBC patients. (Lindor KD, 1994) Also shows anti-apoptotic and immunomodulatory properties. (Beuers U, 2001)

• Primary biliary cholangitis
• Cholesterol gallstones
• Intrahepatic cholestasis
• Cystic fibrosis liver disease
• Drug-induced hepatotoxicity

Side Effects

• Diarrhea
• Weight gain
• Alopecia (rare)
• Calcified gallstones
